RHCC Cares For Camp Fire Victims

By Heidi Healy

Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation started its season of giving over 20 years ago with food and toy barrels strategically placed next to the lunch room doors at each of our branches and set modest goals for donations to local food banks and charity organizations. Over the years, the company goals to help the needs of the community have grown in proportion to the significant number of donations by employees, vendors and customers to which we even have received the Alameda County “full plate” award many years in a row as well as recognition for our efforts in many other locations.

This year, RHCC is launching it’s annual Operation Santa Supply Chain initiative with an additional goal;

While we are still committed to collecting food and toys, we cannot ignore the great losses of the communities affected by the “Camp Fire” in Butte County, which has personally impacted many of our employees and customers.

With more than 150,000 acres burned, and over 45,000 people displaced through evacuations and loss of property in Northern California, Raymond Handling Concepts wanted to find a way we could give back to our neighbors in need.

Help Us Make A Difference

In collaboration with our annual Operation Santa’s Supply Chain initiative, we thought it was only appropriate that all of the proceeds from the ornaments and mugs sold this year should benefit local chapters of The Red Cross and The Salvation Army who are actively helping those affected by this disaster.

This season of giving is always important, but it has taken on an even greater mission as Butte County works to help its severely displaced communities.

With your purchase of an ornament or a mug, you can help us give back to the families who need it most this holiday season.
