Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation announces fourth annual pink pallet jack project in support of breast cancer awareness month

4th Annual pink pallet jack project | Breast Cancer Awareness | Materials handlingIn continuation of its efforts in the fight against breast cancer, Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation will be holding its fourth annual Pink Pallet Jack Project online auction in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month from Tuesday October 17 to Friday October 27, 2017 on eBay.

All proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to the Tina Fund of Greene, New York and the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation in Fremont, California.

The 10-day auction will begin on Monday, October 17 at noon PST and end on Friday, October 27 at 12 p.m. PST. During this time, participants can bid on Raymond’s pink 8210 Electric Pallet Truck on eBay.com.

The 8210 Raymond Electric Pallet Truck is ideal for retail store, wholesale delivery and food processing applications that require navigation in tight and/or congested areas. It also features Raymond’s exclusive Click2Creep design, which overrides the upper brake position and automatically slows the travel speed, enabling improved maneuverability and more controlled operation.

Pink Pallet Jack Project’s past success

Charitable giving is at the core of Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, as it is devoted to making positive impacts on its local communities. Due to overwhelming support by its employees, customers, partners and local communities, Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation has raised more than $109,000 for charity since 2014, a large majority of this amount coming from the Pink Pallet Jack Program.

In previous years, Heubel Shaw, inspired by Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation’s dedicated efforts to finding a cure, activated its own fundraiser and donated more than $45,000 in 2015 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. The Midwest Raymond dealer ran the program again in 2016.

The story behind Raymond’s dedication to breast cancer charities

The Pink Pallet Jack Project was initiated in 2014 by Steve Raymond and the RHCC executive team. Steve and his team were invited by local Greene, New York resident Shelly Howell to participate in a charity event benefiting the Tina Fund, a fund that Howell created in honor of her sister Tina Turner, who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in 2011.

Breast cancer has touched the lives of many at Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, too. There are employees who have survived, friends and family members who have lost their battles and some that are fighting today. Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation invites you to join in this very special cause to raise money for two charities that support those who have been and currently are affected by breast cancer.
