Definition: What is 4-D?

Four-directional forklift trucks (such as Raymond’s Fiddler™ 4-D®) use their maneuverability to help warehouse operators maximize space that is available.
Capable of travelling in four directions, these machines allow warehouse operators to create denser storage. This, in turn, leads to quicker and easier retrieval of long loads.
The Fiddler 4-D uses Raymond’s intellidrive® system for better torque control for fine maneuvering and travel over uneven floors.
As it helps reduce aisle width, eliminating right-angle turns as well, the four-directional travel also frees up to 40 percent storage space.
