Raymond Handling Concepts was established in 1987 as a family-oriented company that fosters close, long-lasting customer relationships. It stems from a tradition extending back more than 90 years when my grandfather, George G. Raymond, founded The Raymond Corporation in the small, rural village of Greene, NY by purchasing the Lyon Iron Works in 1922 for a few thousand dollars. Much of our culture of doing business on a “handshake,” trusting our customers, suppliers, and employees, as well as our family orientation, comes from those roots. I think you’ll find it a refreshing alternative to how business is generally conducted in the 21st century. It’s why we use the tagline: “Trusted for Generations.”
